End of season curry evening
Another very successful curry night on Thursday at the Taste of Spice in Selkirk. We got 8 members there and as usual the food was excellent (I had ginger & chilli chicken and it was first class). Here we are at our table
Left hand side (from the front): Martin Keen; Ian Thompson; Dave Bogle; John Moore.
Right hand side (from the back): Chris Nathan; Laura Edmunds; Kevin Poulton; Cameron Carter.
The photo was taken by an employee of Taste of Spice. The restaurant is in the centre of Selkirk, and their website is https://thetasteofspice.com . If you're in Selkirk for an evening, please give them a try!

Selkirk B v Kelso: Great game by Cameron Carter
A 3-1 defeat for Selkirk B at the Town Arms on Tuesday 16th May; but wait for this... there was a total points deficit of 1801 Elo points between the teams! Yes, 1801 points. Given that discrepancy, the surprise of the evening was Cameron Carter's (1325) amazing slugfest with Keith Aitchison (1678) in a game which had material imbalance almost from the start. It's on this website, so please play through it. You won't be disappointed.

Borders Individual Minor: Cameron is the winner
The final results are in from the Minor section: Cameron Carter beat Ian Thompson to take the title; Martin Keen beat Alan Armstrong; Alan Miles and Kevin Poulton drew their game; and William Lawrie beat Logan Symons. Congratulations to Cameron Carter! The new tables are below.Minor section
