03 May 2025: Surprise victory for SElkirk B
Kelso did default on board 4, which put them at an immediate
disadvantage, but still a creditable and unexpected victory for Selkirk B.
A win by Sam Cornwell and a draw by by John Moore gave Selkirk the points
they needed. On board 2, Kelso's Ian Whittaker scored a point against
Mark Gardiner, but it wasn't enough to save the team.
This was Kelso's
only defeat of the season, but it does not affect the League as Kelso had
already won the title with two rounds to spare. Well played Kelso, and
there is only the Gala v NHS match still to be played.

23 May 2025: A new quickplay tournament
It's not quite official yet, but we understand that a quickplay
tournament might be held in the Borders on Aug 2nd. A date for your
diary! More details will be uploaded when we have them.
